We got an alert that there are California Condors that were seen on a bridge in Northern Arizona ?
Sounds made up, anybody else hear this ?

It could be true.
I plan on going to the Grand Canyon to see them some time.

I spent a week at the Grand Canyon trying to find one, and I have still never seen one. I hope you do better.

but we stayed on the North Rim. I don't recall any condor talks.
I bet it was magnificent to see them. Such huge birds!

(12,051 posts)3. 4 years ago when we were about 100 feet from the visitor center at the Grand Canyon, a
condor flew straight up into the air in front of us all as it rode a thermal from the canyon below. We all nearly fell on our asses from surprise and awe. They are HUGE. On that day, I also saw a giant tarantula cross the walkway as we walked along the canyon rim, also right near the visitor center. It was quite a visit.
