Is what I noticed when I was watching a couple nests/return juveniles near me. They were tagged so I was able to tell who was who.

None around here are tagged (I think,) not even the osprey (who should arrive around St. Pat's Day, March 17.)

That takes place annually in a state just south of you, I can't recall which of the Carolinas it is.

major river provides food for osprey, and eagles probably too.
