I've not seen any for a long time. There were plenty where I grew up near the James River and its tributaries.
I like the two photos where the tail color is flashing the best.

They're hugely here this year/week; not so much last year. LOTS of cedar trees.
I'm frustrated that the light in recent days has not leant itself to showcasing their colors, which is wonderful.

(3,493 posts)4. I used to live in a house that had a small pond with a waterfall in the yard,
and the Cedar Waxwings stopped in my yard every year. That was in middle Tennessee.
Beautiful birds.
