7. CGI almost! Resplendent Quetzal is the most spectacular...

...of five quetzal species all in Trogonidae. Trogons are in general a majorly beautiful worldwide family of 35 species of birds.

Etymology. From Spanish quetzal, from Classical Nahuatl quetzalli (“brightly colored tail feather, quetzal feather”), from quetza (“to raise, lift”); see also Classical Nahuatl quetzaltōtōtl (“quetzal bird”).

11. Yes that makes sense because the branches are works of art by themselves.

Then they entice the birds with food to come to the branch.

So how do they get the birds? Are they borrowed from someone?

Aren't they afraid they birds will fly away if these
are borrowed birds for the photo shoot?

If the birds are just native to the location and flying around,
how do they attract this particular bird?

Obviously the artistic branch is color coordinated to look great with this particular bird?

I know I sound like a complete dolt but I know nothing about photography in general or
the subset of wildlife photography.

Of course that makes sense. Go to the animal's natural habitat and hang around.
Make it enticing for the animal to up the odds for a good picture.

These are extraordinarily beautiful.
