The NFL did the right thing to postpone as these players are human and have emotions. They were visibly distraught.

Finish the game when you can. It didn’t have to be last night when hearts were heavy and all they could think about was another person’s life.

I’m willing to bet tons of mistakes would’ve been made on the field last night if they played on.

They can play the game when their minds are cleared.

You can go back to work in time, it doesn’t have to be that very second.

It is the witnessing of full cardiac arrest...almost death in this case....it is emotional trauma....millions upon millions of people witnessed this at the same time...

As they apparently did last night. If the players refused to play, I don’t see that there would be much that could be done about it.

There have been moments like this in other sports and the game went on. There have been moments like this in football and the game continued. Maybe things are a bit different now.

It is likely that’s one of the reasons that young man survived.

There were trained medical professionals on the field that could help him within seconds.

I think the players were right to refuse to take the field. Having 50 traumatized players trying to continue the game could have turned into an even worse disaster.

NFL Executive Troy Vincent said the league took no steps toward restarting the game and did not ask players to begin a five-minute warmup period as ESPN's broadcasters had announced.

They were assuming the game would resume in five minutes. Then they said nobody's moving.

I think the broadcasters were getting little information or guidance at that stage so they were just guessing.
