7. Comparing the teams...

Both teams play outstanding defense. Call it a push.

KC has a better quarterback. Philly has a better run game. Both teams have good special teams units. I would give Philly a slight edge because I think their offensive line will stack up better against the Chiefs pass rush than the reverse. But it's really, really close. These teams played two years ago and it was a close run thing right to the end, and I expect the same next Sunday. There is one thing: Vic Fangio, Philadelphia's defensive coordinator (and one of the best in the business) has never beaten Mahomes. Chiefs have the voodoo. I will not pick against Mahomes at this time of year.

10. I heard

On local news this morning that the phrase 3peat is actually trademarked by some basketball player or coach back in the eighties. Saying it is allowed-apparently-but printing it on like a tee shirt or whatever is violation of the trademark. Haven’t heard of any lawsuits though.
