I’ve never had to have it to watch Thursday Night Football on Prime.

And I guess Peacock now too.

Because they can make more money doing that so that’s what they are doing, I don’t know what the Thursday night game is as far as who is playing but I noticed the Cowboys game is on my regular NBC channel tonight no need for Peacock where I live.

But my grandson who wants to sign into my Peacock lives in another part of the state and needs it to watch the game so yeah

I was unaware that it was being broadcasted on NBC this first week, so I’ll at least get to watch it this week. If they require me to subscribe to Peacock to watch next week, I’ll be giving up football on Thursday nights.

Sports are spreading their broadcasts so we can chase them down and pay to view. Hard pass for me. I have one service. Not chasing.

I love my football, but if they think I’m going to pay premiums just to watch certain games, they can kiss my butt. It’s a line in the sand I won’t cross. There’s a lot of other things I can do besides pay the NFL more money to watch their games. Especially when many of the games are horribly bad.

If I did, I might accidentally see or hear some of the godawful pregame crap. Perish the thought, the in-game announcing is bad enough by itself.

For whatever reason, the Week 1 Thursday night game is on NBC. So try to watch through whatever method you usually access NBC, not through Amazon Prime (which is probably why they are trying to get you to sign up for Peacock).

I get a better stream on pirated sites than the one I pay for.
