But I'm rooting for the underdogs, the Rams and the Browns to be spoilers in the playoffs by sending the Seahawks and the Steelers home.

except not played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. In -14F temperature.

I think all AFC/NFC Championships (Superbowl's) should be played at Lambeau Field.
It's one reason there is a Lombardi Trophy. Packers have 13 Championships, more than any other team.
That's the equivalent of 13 Lombardi Trophies.
Football has had championship games since the early 1930's.

Football should be played outside, in the very cold of Feb, with 70,000 fans, none of which are very far from the field.
The noise at Lambeau is unique. Players can hear what fans scream.

Lambeau's design is an intimate experience for fans and is considered the best place to play football, by NFL players (very important) and ESPN (not important) who have voted it as the best stadium. It's over 100 years of football history in one location, almost a national museum of the sport.

The last 2020 home game had several hundred first responders as guests. No season ticket holders were allowed.

Owned by the fans, it's the only not-for-profit football team in America.
It can never host another Superbowl, as the city is too small to accommodate the crowds who demand to attend or the commercial aspects required for the event.

But every Superbowl will always feature a lot of talk about Lambeau, Lombardi, and Green Bay. The merger of the AFL & NFL into the AFC & NFC is the reason we have a Superbowl, which is the world championship.

This year, Packers have a bye and home field throughout the playoffs. Again.
And a replay of Superbowl 1 could be a lot of fun with Rogers and Mahommes in the Bart Starr - Len Dawson roles.

But I have been to Arrowhead Stadium a couple of times. THE loudest stadium/fans in the NFL!

I like the Packers just fine. But living in Seattle now and a Super Bowl between the Hawks and the Chiefs would be a win win for me and a resurrection to an old rivalry - before Seahawks (second loudest stadium) went NFC in 2002.

Either way this is sure to be a different championship game for many reasons. I haven’t investigated how fans will be allowed in person since it is in FL...

and that is what makes an in-person experience worth the price of a ticket.

Each city is different, each team's history adds to an event. I am glad to see, this year's playoffs, having great teams, exceptional plays even with the pandemic raging across the country. It is a testament to the teams, fans and the players who have always given us great post-season entertainment.

At least we are both enjoying the season.
