(26,981 posts)The Bengals are an up-and-coming team, no doubt, Burrow and Chase in particular. But to have the composure to knock off the Chiefs at this stage is super impressive.
I'll be cheering for them against whichever team comes out of the NFC.

(15,526 posts)I couldn't believe they allowed the time clock to run down to zero with no points!
They seemed complacent at that point, as if they thought they could score at will for the remainder of the game... so it "wouldn't matter" or something.

(15,526 posts)It MIGHT be a third 49ers matchup for the Bengals in a Super Bowl. I hope third time's a charm!
No Joe Montana playing for the 49ers this time around, though.

(27,321 posts)I was hoping Joe Burrow would get picked up by the Browns but Im glad he got to go to an Ohio team since he is from Ohio.

(15,526 posts)... was happily cheering about the Bengals win today.
Me and my brother would do the same if the Browns were in the running for a Super Bowl. I wouldn't have been that way a couple decades ago, but it's been so pathetic that a football-crazed state like Ohio hasn't had a Super Bowl champion yet. (The Browns had championship titles prior to the NFL/AFL merger, but the main focus for a long time has been Super Bowl wins.)
The NFL Hall of Fame is located in Ohio too, for crying out loud.
