Win a fantasy Super Bowl from the comfort of your home

and you don't need to purchase a $4 billion NFL franchise to do it either! The DU has a fantasy football league (Yahoo platform) and there is NO COST to play.

We've been holding this friendly competition for several years and we're looking for a couple of new managers. FYI, when we sought a DUer to join the 12-team league last year, the newcomer wound up winning the championship even though it was her first time participating in fantasy football. So even if you're inexperienced, you're welcome to give it a shot.

Our draft is coming up in a couple of weeks. If you're interested in having a little fun with fantasy, post in this thread or send me a direct message.

It's a proven fact that managers in the DU Fantasy League 217% more attractive than 4 out of 5 dentists.

for seven seasons. I know what a time suck it can be, so kudos for doing the job.

I started playing back in the '90s, when our commish sat in his cubicle Monday mornings and reviewed box scores in the newspaper so he could tally points. Beats working, I guess. I took a break for some years and started plaing again back in '13. Still, no team I ever managed finished better than third in either league in which I participated. Slowly it dawned on me that I wasn't paying enough attention to my team, nor was I really interested in doing so. Moreover, it blurs the line of rooting interest when a player you need to do well is up against your favorite team. So, I stopped playing and took some stress away from my Sundays

Good luck to those who decide to participate, and here's hoping for a fun season.
