I used to be a hard core player, but decided not to reup about 1 1/2 years ago. I haven't missed it since and in fact when I think about it, it gives me a mild headache. LOL I'm looking forward to Skyrim MMO.

I got tired of the cartoony graphics and ever repetitive grinding in WOW.

My hope for MMO's of the future is allowing guilds or players to create their own quests and weapons much like stand alones allow. That would make MMO's far more interesting to play and would, I think, break the same old type of grinding quests of "go get 10 blahs so I can save the whatsit from death by creating a thing from the 10 blahs".

that model, while it works, has to change.

there are a few MMO's out there that are trying some new questing concepts, and for what it's worth, I understand WOW has tried some of them. But there needs to be a new generation model of questing introduced.
