Today is "Red Letter Day" for Half-Life 2
For the Half-Life 2 fans on DU today is Red Letter Day. The plan is to get as many people as possible to play Half-Life 2 at the same time in order to show Valve that people care about the game and would like to know about what's going on with Episode 3.
This is not about pushing Valve to publish anything, but only about keeping the lines of communication to the fans open, so that we at least know that they're working on it (or they're not as it may be).
