Roleplaying Games

I realize that this Group is for Computer Gamers, but this is as close as I can get to the Topic. I am a Lifelong, Dedicated Table Top Roleplayer. I have also done a good amount of LARPing.

I am getting older but I am still into the hobby. I am also working on a Game Design, but I am keeping it under wraps until I can finish it and maybe publish it.

Anyway, here is an Icebreaker Question- what are your top three RPGs and Why? Mine are -Runequest for the System, Stormbringer for the Cool, FASA Star Trek because who would not want to be a Starfleet Officer? Honorable Mention to Daredevils and Villains and Vigilantes.

What are some of your favorite roleplaying games?

That was the early to middle 80s. I played a james bond like one called Top Secret. Along with Melee and Car Wars by Steve Jackson games before his GURPs system. And a few table top war games, Diplomacy by Avalon Hill, Squad Leader and many rounds of Russian Campaign.

They rebooted Top Secret with a crowd funded initial release.

I played D&D to start and did also play Top Secret. Both good games but I went on to different Games and different Systems. I have run some D&D games for my Nephews because they like the Game but I would like to get them to try other Games and other Systems. Anyway it is cool that you were a Player. Good to see you here and maybe keep in touch. I like RPGs but I am political of course which is the main reason I am here. Games and Hobbies can be a nice diversion from reality and politics sometimes.[edit to add: I double posted so I deleted the duplicate post.]
