Question for the group:

1) Spouse and I are OFTEN deep in the national forests/blm-land etc. Rough and rutted dirt/rock roads

2) We camp in a van, often 30 miles+ from a store, town etc. We find a good spot and set up tarps, a table, chairs, stove, etc.

3) I want to be able to go to the store or into town without tearing down camp...and POSSIBLY (not likely) losing the spot that we found.

4) --Together-- we weigh about 280 lbs

5) Whatever we get would need to be "street legal"

SO...after all that explanation of our scenario...

I would like some recommendations for a motorcycle that is:

A) small enough to put in a fold-up style rack on the back of the van (rack...not trailer)

B) 4 stroke

C) Powerful enough to handle our combined 280 lbs plus some water/groceries/fuel...things we would make a ride into town for

D) It does not have to be FAST, just nimble and RELIABLE

Any suggestions? Anything stand out?

I'd go with a small dual purpose like this: EX500rider Mar 2023 #3
Or check out the scooters which come in many sizes EX500rider Mar 2023 #4
