I have been using this for years and have watched ticks jump right off my clothes as soon as they got on.

Spray it on your clothes , socks , hat , what ever you are wearing.
I do mine the night before so it dries over night.

It says non-toxic to humans but do you know if it's safe for animals (especially dogs).

People that work at REI and Cabelas have told me that it is safe for dogs but not cats. They spray a bandanna in the same manner as their clothes and tie it around their dogs neck. No ticks! I think Sawyers website also mentions this concerning dogs and cats.
I have been out looking for morels 4 times, heavy woods and no ticks. Clothes and socks were worn twice then washed and worn three more times. Thats about 16 hours and no ticks!
