I was in Switzerland during the World Cup in 2010. It was hard hunting down the latest bracket info in the daily papers (though I can read German). Our hotel was just outside the stadium in Bern where they televised the games on the big screens. With our hotel window open, we could hear the crowd cheering every time the right team made the right move to keep Switzerland in the running.

Definitely gave me the fever for the World Cup. Too bad it's every 10 years.

Now, I just try to catch soccer news and games when I can. I watch a lot of Mexican league soccer on the Spanish channels and I saw ESPN was playing some of the British games a week or two ago.
