The Ultimate Guide to European Train Travel With a Eurail Pass

Train travel would certainly be an interesting way to travel. And European trains are certainly very comfortable. Recently I took the high speed train from Paris to Lyon, and the ride was very smooth.

Many, many years ago I bought a Eurail pass, and they certainly do come in handy. Even took a ferry using the Eurail pass.

We traveled from Paris to Strasbourg & back several times and went into Germany and Switzerland all via train. It's inexpensive, comfortable, reliable and there are so many options!

a 9€ ($9.50) monthly pass is now available to anyone for travel on regional trains.

He now takes the train to work instead of driving.

from CNN 23.May.2022: The German government has today approved the creation of a €9 ($9.50) monthly public transport ticket. It will be launched in June -- just in time for a summer trip.
