16 Fall Road Trip Ideas Throughout the U.S.

Road trips are always fun. You can take your time exploring an area and really get to know the history.

Of places listed in this article, I did explore small towns in Vermont (my daughter went to school there), been up at the North Shore (Minnesota, I'd highly recommend this area, was just there last month), been up the the Upper Peninsula of Michigan hundreds of times, definitely worth the trip, Door County Wisconsin, been there hundreds of times and just a couple weeks ago too.

Definitely would like to explore other areas. There are so many beautiful places here in the US to see.

the Skyline Drive and Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. The Skyline drive is all forest with magnificent views
at every turn. I like to bike on the GAP trail through OhioPyle State Park in PA or from Cumberland MD to
Meyersdale PA. In Ohio there is Hocking Hills State Park, the Cuyahoga National Park bike trail and Ohio Amish country.
They are all a short weekend road trip from where I live.
