Still recalling our long-ago Italian honeymoon.

Coco Lezzone Restaurant

The Coco Lezzone restaurant was born in a characteristic little street in the historic center of Florence in the early nineteenth century, first as a shop “Da Corrado”, also known as “Coco Lezzone”, then, in the Seventies, as a temple of cuisine managed by the Paoli family, led by the owner Gianfranco Paoli, who in 2002 passed the restaurant on to his son Gianluca and his right-hand man Fabrizio Noferini, who carry on with honor the tradition of the trattoria and the most typical Florentine cuisine.

At Coco Lezzone, in fact, you can savour, in a characteristic and familiar environment, the dishes of the Florentine gastronomic tradition, cooked slowly and patiently on the fires of a wood-burning stove, in the old fashioned way,

7. Our honeymoon was 41 years ago! SO glad I kept (and use) the Fisher 83/84 guide book.
