I know there is a looooong way to go before this would be possible....

....but now that Iran and the US are starting to talk to each other again I hope things will get better between our two countries to the point and as well inside of Iran to the point that it becomes a country that Americans and others could travel to and be fairly safe. I just hope our own teabaggers, Israeli conservatives, or Iranian hardliners don't f--k that up.

With that all being said, it does look like there are interesting things to go and see in that country.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
