see any difference between a church, a mosque, a synagogue, a gurdwara and a temple?

If the Martian is just a bacteria or similar, then no, probably wouldn't see much difference. Probably see them all as breeding and hunting grounds.

It was an atheist's response to "what kind of evidence would you accept as proof of god?" One of the evidences listed as extremely convincing was if extra terrestrials were to show themselves and practice the exact same religion.
