It was the '90s special that seemed slanted to the right.

I googled and found he did this even though he was right handed - very odd. He quickly learned how to play drums when hired as a Monkee - maybe this had something to do with it.

I think Micky is learning how to lip sync with drums - that was also handy with the Monkees! His grip definitely improved over the years
