PEW says Christians are declining in America

The Christian share of the U.S. population is declining, while the number of U.S. adults who do not identify with any organized religion is growing,

http://www.pewforum.org/2015/05/12/americas-changing-religious-landscape/

I dont know until I read it all if people who realize god is a fairy tale, if that number is growing or not.

I call it a fairy tale and as soon as I do many believers will consider me being rude.

Oh well...i have been called worse.

I have said that evolution will eventually eliminate beliefs like this as well as guns, but not in our lifetimes of course.

You know, there are more polite and civil ways of telling someone they simply posted a duplicate thread.

47. Message to all those who have recommended this:

There is not one scintilla of data presented by this author to substantiate the claim that "christians are leaving the faith in droves". Not one.

The inability of the average web reader to actually get past headlines and be able to analyze information is probably one of the most dangerous trends in the world right now. People will believe anything they are told if it suits their agenda.

I dont consider it negative to not believe in leprechauns or god.

does that person have the power to post warnings?

or do you simply mean when said poster got angry at the thought of PEW research exposing the truth?

BTW, you will be amazed how fun this place is if you never respond to certain people.

I love them for what they believe and what they try and do with that belief.

Sadly many Christians use their belief for hate

They're waging war on women and lgbt people in this country and around the world.

I don't know any atheists who want to restrict the rights of others.

Marriage equality? You are waging war on my beliefs in traditional marriage.

Teaching evolution? You are waging war on my creationist beliefs.
