5. This is what passes for wisdom?

"Why did God allow Hitler to come to power and directly and indirectly cause the deaths of tens of millions of people Grandma?"

"So I could claim their real trauma for our ersatz edification, dear."

7. Why does God allow it? There is no god.

Why do we allow it? Because we are a Democracy and there are enough shitty people in this country to get Trump the nomination. Hopefully not enough to put him in the Presidency.

If there is a god and it lets shitty things happen so we appreciate the non-shitty things, then that god is a dick.

9. The Creator created...and left what was created to proceed.

That is called free will.

Some will state that the mere presence of evil "proves" that there is no Creator. This statement assumes that the Creator directs and controls Creation. This also assumes that any created being can know the mind of the Creator.
