Pope Urges Families to Have Fewer Kids to Make World More Sustainable

https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/dbda428a-db88-31f6-b4e4-88bf2d93aff1/rpt%3A-pope-urges-families-to.html

But of course, he and his organization condemn any form of artificial contraception as evil. So, he's basically saying, stop having sex after you've had 2 kids, or just use the old reliable rhythm method.

How can people be so fucking stupid?

The world is overpopulated with humans.

It's a start for a discussion, one we all need to be aware of.

And artificial contraception was recognized by all sane people as a safe and inexpensive way to control population growth and reduce poverty and strain on resources. The catholic church has been fighting against that simple principle all along, and they still are, for reasons that have ZERO justification outside of of theological nutbaggery and religious prudery.

Please don't be giving the catholic church credit for anything here. They deserve nothing but shame.

with absolutely zero change in the policies that make that right direction actually possible for those that follow the dogma of the church.
