Two teenagers have called for an end to compulsory prayers in Wales' schools

Two high school pupils have launched a petition calling on the Welsh Assembly to end compulsory collective worship in schools.
The online petition launched by 15-year-olds Rhiannon Shipton and Lily McAllister-Sutton from Ysgol Glantaf in Cardiff has had more than 870 signatures of support in less than two weeks.
Rhiannon, said they were not anti-religion but religious worship was a waste of time for atheists and saying the Lord’s Prayer each assembly was a waste of time for pupils of religions other than Christianity.
“My friend and I are just sick of all the religious stuff we had to do at school,” said Rhiannon.
