Enough with this shit!

It was between innings of the ballgame, so I checked out a car auction. A Corvette had just sold for a huge chunk of change. The seller couldn't stop praising God for the sale. His restoration work counted for nothing. It was ALL due to God.

I was hesitant to turn back to the ballgame because I knew someone would point to the sky after getting a bloop hit.

Ugh

Or those who thank God because someone survived delicate surgery. Excuse me, what about the doctors?

Or -- and this was the single thing that offended me the most -- after a plane crash in which many, but not all passengers were killed, a man was thanking God for saving his son. So what about those who died? Shall we curse God for those deaths?

The problem with religion is that it is used to explain everything and nothing. If something good happens, thank God. If something bad happens, then God wills it. What the fuck kind of sadistic bastard is God anyway?

Perhaps the Creator inspired you to change the channel, a "Saul riding to Tarsus" moment, but you rejected the clear sign and decided to continue on your path to............wherever you are going.
