Arguing that Religion is truth is like participating in a fencing match

while wearing roller skates and competing with another fencer who is using proper footwear. Without stable footing, the sport is pure comedy.

At least so it seems to me. Without a solid foundation from which to act, the game is lost. If your basic premise that a deity exists cannot be demonstrated to be true, your argument is little more than sophistry.
