I learn so much in this group

I can't prove Xenu didn't bring billions of people from the galactic federation to earth 75 million years ago and blew them up with hydrogen bombs so that their vaporized primordial bits now cling to my spirit. So I have an unprovable belief system which denies this.

I have another unprovable belief system which denies Zeus, Apollo, Athena, and the other two dozen or so Greek gods.

I also can't prove I didn't miss hitching a ride on the spaceship that hides behind the Hale-Bopp comet, so I have yet another unprovable belief system which denies that.

Not to be missed, I have yet another unprovable belief system which denies the existence of talking donkeys and snakes with a hippy zombie that promises an eternally infinite supply of moonpies and RC cola, if I only believe His stories.

Im sure there's quite a few I'm leaving out, but I'm kinda busy creating all the mental constructs required to deny all these things. I never realized how easy it must be to simply believe in all of it.

Even people who believe they do. It's really more a question of what constitutes "proof." For some, they believe it because an old book says so. For these people, old books are strong proof.

Others don't want to admit they are relying on such weak proof, so they make up a thing called "faith" which conveniently bypasses all need for proof.
