Four-Year-Old Sings ‘Ain’t No Homos Going To Make It To Heaven’ – Receives Standing Ovation (VIDEO)

As a child in a small town, I remember making the mistake of reciting a particularly racist version of ‘eenie meenie miney moe’ in front of my father. It was one of the only times I saw my normally reticent father be driven to anger. Despite the fact that I was only about four or five, and despite the fact that I had no idea what the words I repeated meant, I quickly learned they were wrong and I even understood why. In that moment, I grew. It helped form me as an adult.

A four-year-old boy in Indiana also learned a lesson. He learned that singing about sending ‘homos’ to hell earns him a standing ovation in his church, the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Greensburg, IN. He learned that there are people on this earth, even though he undoubtedly doesn’t understand exactly which people, who are hated by God and should therefore be hated by him. He learned that when he gets older, it will be okay to bully kids for being different, because the adults in his life ordain it; his church ordains it; God ordains it. In a short song, in just a few minutes of time, the boy learned that hate was okay. The lesson will follow him.

The silver lining here is that these kinds of events are getting more and more attention, and most of it is not positive.

No longer can they hide in their private enclaves and promote their bigotry.

The whole world is watching, and that is a very good thing.

hateful bigoted garbage.

No wonder the nation is going to the dogs. I don't mean to disrespect dogs. I have a few.

This crowd and their beliefs are directly responsible for suicides and beatings.

If they apparently believe what the Bible says then they have also committed murder. If they believe it in their hearts they have committed it for real.

Hopefully, he will grow up to learn that believing in a hateful god has nothing to do with reality.

I really can't imagine creating a less appealing god than that one. The Roman and Greek gods were a lot more fun. I think the OT god was a beta test for fascism.

Theism, in general, isn't exactly reality-based and the belief in a hateful god is probably easier to reconcile with a world full of death, disease, and suffering.
