Mormons, like Bobbsie Twins, always come in pairs. Somehow, they still seem to dress like Bobbsie Twins. Wonder why?

Too bad we don't have watchdogs to keep those guys from getting on our airwaves and into our government.

that has NO SOLICITING signs posted prominently by the entrances. Keeps out all the door-to-door folks.

On a side note, I've seen pairs of Mormon missionaries here in Memphis a lot more frequently lately, as in, it went from not at all to every weekend. It's weird and a potentially huge waste of time and money for the LDS church because Tennessee went to Rick "Frothy Mixture" Santorum in the GOP primaries, so they're really barking up the wrong tree down here. Anything that siphons funds away from their anti-same-sex-marriage activities is fine by me, though.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
