Where we could part ways, however might be if "you" begin to tear down my beliefs in a derogatory manner. I would also expect the same from myself to not tear down the thoughts of the non-believers.

We all should have the right to believe or not believe without being mocked or berated...agree? (I have the feeling you do.)

...tear it down in a derogatory manner? I think if one is going to equate the two, then the believer has to agree not to respect that the sinner who doesn't see what they are doing as a sin has a right not to be mocked either. Can one respect the sinner's view of their sin?

That is what I said.

I expect that the best thing would be for both to respect the other and allow for "belief" or "sin" to be equally considered.

What I may find to be a sin may not be considered so by another. If nobody is being hurt, then I have no say in the matter, other than to opine that it may not be something I would do. The same for the non believer to, in my opinion, to respect that what I believe is my business, as long as it does not hurt another.

I just go to angry and stay there. But now that you mention it, I can't remember the last time i went over the edge to hate.
