1. Hey, it's still happening now, of course, with gays. But my mother was left-handed, and (a

long time ago) went to a Catholic school, and they made her learn to write right-handed. Argggh. However, I'm a leftie (in more ways than one, obviously), and no one made me change, of course.

The only advantages to switching came with things like scissors and pay telephones.
