Why was a thread re: The Flying Spaghetti Monster locked as off topic when there are threads here

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by muriel_volestrangler (a host of the Religion group).

discussing many other beliefs including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Mormon?

has a decision been made in advance to exclude our beliefs in this discussion group?

the threads don't seem to be limited to any one religion, group or set of beliefs, so what gives?

that I pointed out this was a topic for the Help and Meta-Discussion forum, not the Religion Group itself. That's if the poster actually was serious; if not, they can post it in The Lounge.

And, for exactly the same reasons, I'm now going to lock this thread. The Religion group is for discussion of religion, not discussion of DU.
