Happy Trinity Sunday!Last edited Sun May 26, 2013, 12:43 PM - Edit history (2)
This is the day when some Christians celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity.
Collect for Trinity Sunday Almighty and everlasting God, you have given us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity: keep us steadfast in this faith, that we may evermore be defended from all adversities; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

3. Happy Trinity Sunday indeed!
Prayer of the Day
Father, we praise you; through your Word and Holy Spirit you created all things. You reveal your salvation in all the world by sending to us Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh. Through your Holy Spirit you give us a share in your life and love. Fill us with the vision of your glory, that we may always serve and praise you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Presbyterian Church USA Book of Common Worship |

5. This is the day you trinitarians celebrate it.
"We" is a bit presumptive, ignoring the fact that not everyone is a christian, not all christians believe in the three, three, three gods in one doctrine.
But you know that you would get an unexamined attaboy over in the interfaith group, so I assume this is just you looking for another "discussion". |

6. I just corrected the we to Christians.
Does it bother you that I posted this here.

7. it remains presumptive. Unitarians, for example, reject trinitarianism.
And they are not alone. So you just frogmarched them out of christianity.
Why do I have to explain christian doctrinal disputes to christians? |
