In recent months, while I was detaching/being detached, from the hospital, I expressed the need to be around like-minded people. My "I Am" cards included being "surrounded by like-minded people" and in a "community that fits."

In the last 6 weeks, I started my new part time job back at the company where I worked while in school.

My main peer trainer, it turns out, is interested in spirituality, alternative healing and new age "woo" , so we've had some interesting conversations.

Another peer trainer has seemed very "flat." It turns out around the time I was driven out of my home of 17 years in Mass by the sex offender and his gang, she was driven out of her home in Florida by a former "friend" who essentially went off the deep end and started calling a series of complaints about her dogs, her home, her child raising, and anything else she (a lawyer) could come up with the keep her in a constant state of turmoil with constant visits from police and various agencies. I gained new insight into her 'flatness,' really depression over the loss of her dreams and goals (she was a dog breeder, now has only her original 4 dogs who are elderly), along with the trauma that forced her relocation.

Last week I started feeling the strong urge to learn to spin and knit...something creative to do while listening to my new, super-progressive radio station. A couple days ago, I mentioned it in a post at the Archdruid's blog. Yesterday, in the mail, came the community adult ed catalog...and yes, there is knitting class in it. Then, on my way to work a half day at the hospital, I passed a new store: for fibers, yarns, knitting, etc.

I have also in recent weeks wondered what it would take to become a dj on a new age-type radio station. This morning on my new radio station, which features a couple new age hours plus has new age music incorporated into other programs, announced a free "dj-class" as they are looking for volunteer programmers. They are too far away right now for me to consider, but are in the area that I want to move to.

I still need to find the right people for my mini-farm, but am trying to trust it will fall into place at the right time

In the meantime, listening to the radio this morning, I picked up the following link of an extensive channeling; a series that started almost 25 years ago. I've just started reading it...very interesting.

and knitting/weaving/all handcrafts perhaps. I just know this about spinning. Been spinning since I was 12.....

You've got a great many good local wools up in your area. Enjoy learning these crafts!
