The Ojibwa 7th Fire Prophecy

The Ojibwa Seventh-fire Prophecy states: "Look for an island shaped like a turtle that will be an instrument in the purification of the earth."
30 years ago such a prophecy might not have meant so much to us, but with the global warming crisis of today... doesn't it make you want to look? Now google maps Easter Island...
Why Easter Island? This answer to this question was confirmed to me when an Ojibwa woman shared with me the conviction of her Ojibwa Grandfather, that Easter Island is the turtle shaped island they were to look for and its stone monuments and undeciphered writing tablets can re-teach and motivate us to live in harmony with the earth again. For a link to a novel based on the first time decipherment of the Easter Island tablets, come and see:

At Fort Hall, during the 70's. I danced and drummed later in life for part of a University seminar, for cross cultural healing. Angles Arrian(sp) is a fabulous speaker and author.

what to make of the *Fire* connotation (prophecy?). I started doing a little reading about it. Still very much uninformed.

However. I love the music, and I'm learning that dance. It is wonderful trance dance. It stirs my inner fire.

An African elder once said, "Small dreams are for the individual, but big dreams should be shared with everyone."
The small dream is one that we typically have that is easy to forget. The big dream is one that is seasoned with gifts from the Creator. For example, you may see, hear and taste things not usual to normal dreams. My dreams came when I was 12 and ill with a severe fever. I experience an elevated peace within the dream that I desperately wanted again when I woke. Perhaps this is what scientists call the God Experience. I don't disagree that these experience can be explained, and... a consideration that the Creator designed it is also a possibility.

Hoa Hakanana'ia, the hidden moai statue in the stone house of Orongo village also had various markings on its back.
Since the markings contained two birds with broken wings lifting up a smaller bird, the broader Polynesian mythology of the deified trickster-hero Maui and his caregivers, Mu and Weka, who have broken wings, comes into play on Easter Island...
