Kansas Catholic Bishops support anti gay bill
What the hell, Kansas? The Kansas Catholic Conference is standing behind a controversial Kansas House bill that would prevent individuals or religious entities from being required by the government to participate in or provide facilities and services to a same-sex wedding, if it violated their religious beliefs.
The Kansas Catholic Conferences executive director, Michael Schuttloffel, testified for House Bill 2453 in late January, asserting the law was necessary. On Monday, as the bill was stalled in the Senate and under attack, the Kansas Catholic Conference reiterated on its Facebook page its support for House Bill 2453.

Glad to hear the bill's dead. It was awful and never should've seen the light of day.

(35,170 posts)1. We killed the bill.
It is dead. Not going to be voted on so who gives a rats ass about these people. BYW, they are not taking their cues from the people of Kansas who screamed so loud about this bill it was dropped the minute it hit the Senate.

However, my opinion of the majority of Kansans shows a noticeable uptick.
