I will. Then I'm altar guild and will have to help clean up. Back tomorrow morning to set up and sing again. I'm not going to get much sleep.

The amateurs are way more fun. Our 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson always cut up - and still manage to sing!! If you get a recording, please post it. There's no embarrassment here!

If someone records it, I'll be sure to get a copy.

We're having a baroque orchestra. It should sound good as long as I don't make any loud mistakes.

The kids always seem to draw the attention.

It will be wonderful and fun. Merry Christmas, wryter2000! Oh, and we have reindeer from Delta acting out, too - hee hee!!

Other people entertain on Christmas Eve, we seem to spend most of the day in church. I will be serving Holy Communion at my church soon and this evening playing flute and tin whistle in a folk ensemble at another Lutheran church, while my husband plays trumpet in his brass group at yet another church. To me the music helps to focus the meaning of the day.

Altar guild then singing at the 10:00 am service. Then, a bunch of us a delivering meals to people who need them. Finally, I'll be at a church friend's party. What a whirlwind two days. Though I have no family here, I'm never alone at Christmas.

Honestly, I prefer Easter over Christmas, though.

I stocked up on cough drops, cold medicine, and tissues. This cold isn't going to stop me. Watch out, J. S. Bach!
