Holocaust: Memory and Misuse - How We Got Here - TVP World

The annihilation of Europe's Jews during World War II has largely defined the war and our attitudes toward it. The attempted industrial elimination of an entire ethnic group and its history still horrifies.

Is the memory of it fading, or is it being distorted and misused? Join Jan Darasz for "How We Got Here."

No, the memory of the Holocaust is not fading, and no, it is not being distorted or misused.

Except for the participants in this program who are trying hard to insinuate the contrary.

Thankfully, there are only two of them.

…I do feel like kids today know much less about it than when I was a kid in the 80s.

You can even find YouTube reaction videos of people learning about it for the first time. Some of them are American. Some are from Africa where that history is less known in the same way that so few westerners know of the similar atrocities committed by Leopold and his ghouls in the Congo.
