A 53-year-old man was arrested after he chased a woman pushing a stroller with a small child in it down a Queens street as he brandished a metal pipe and spewed anti-Semitic hate, police said on Friday.
The 59-year-old victim was pushing a 7-year-old in a stroller outside of Khal Chassidim of Bayswater synagogue on Westbourne Ave. in Bayswater shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday when a man wielding a metal pipe started chasing them and yelling, Kill the Jews! according to a criminal complaint documenting the incident.
The man chased them for about a block, when the woman and child managed to escape unhurt into a house, where they called the police.
Cops arrested Courtney Bryan, 53, at the scene. Bryan is charged with menacing, harassment, stalking and endangering the welfare of a child as hate crimes, as well as criminal possession of a weapon, according to court documents.

(56,214 posts)I have had to step away from much because of it. "Safe spaces" for GLBT, hobby groups, even democratic spaces, aren't safe for Jews anymore. Well, not certain types of Jews, anyway. It has become part of the fabric of my life and my family's life now.
