Baroness Jenny Tonge was also criticised for her response to the shooting.

On Facebook, she asked her followers if it ever occurs to “Bibi and the present Israeli government that it’s actions against Palestinians may be reignighting antisemitism?”

In 2016, she was suspended from the party after she hosted an event at the House of Lords where audience members compared Israel to Isis terrorists and suggested Jews were to blame for the Holocaust.

Baroness Tonge has been accused of antisemitism over a social media post in which she blamed the Israeli government for the hatred behind the mass shooting in Pittsburgh that claimed the lives of 11 people.

The independent peer – who resigned from the Liberal Democrats in 2016 – criticised the country on Facebook in the immediate aftermath of the attack on the Tree of Life synagogue.

She wrote: “Absolutely appalling and a criminal act, but does it ever occur to Bibi and the present Israeli government that it’s actions against Palestinians may be reigniting antisemitism?”

Which is something Lib Dems seem very thankful for indeed after this nonsense.

Williamson on the other hand is one of Jeremy Corbyn and Momentum's most prominent cheerleaders. And he exemplifies what's wrong with that wing of Labour more than Corbyn does!

4. Ghastly characters

Both have some 'form' for antisemitism. In Tonge's case (all tongue but no brain!), a lot of form. She was kicked out of the Liberal Democrats for it. She should be kicked out of the House of Lords.
