(Jewish Group) Stephen Jackson Sadly Doubles Down On Anti-Semitism In Abhorrent Instagram Video

Former NBA veteran Stephen Jackson emerged as one of the most prominent and poignant leaders of the nationwide protests against systemic racism and police brutality in the aftermath of his friend George Floyd’s killing by a Minneapolis police officer. But now, Jackson has sadly sullied his message with unabashed anti-Semitism.

On Tuesday, Jackson defended Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson, who apologized for sharing a string of anti-Semitic Instagram posts. Most notably, DeSean Jackson endorsed Adolf Hitler, sharing a quote falsely attributed to the Nazi leader about how “Negroes” can stop “white Jews” from carrying out their “plan for world domination.”

In DeSean Jackson’s first apology, he reposted the offensive passage, and said anyone who thinks he “has hate towards the Jewish community” took his post “the wrong way.” He was more contrite in his video statement, saying he didn’t realize what the passage meant.

The Eagles issued a statement condemning Jackson’s social media behavior, and promised to take “appropriate action.” Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and general manager Howie Roseman are Jewish.

Jackson was rightfully condemned for his hateful postings, and while he should be afforded the opportunity for a second-chance, it’s his responsibility to demonstrate solidarity with the Jewish community. Stephen Jackson, however, sees the situation differently. He said Jackson is “just speaking the truth,” and then called out NFL owners for their silence following Floyd’s death.

Bigotry is bad! Oh wait? It's about Jews? Then it is OK!

Edit to add: Stephen Jackson says DeSean Jackson is ‘speaking the truth,’ adds anti-Semitic claims of his own

Former NBA player Stephen Jackson made anti-Semitic remarks Wednesday while continuing to defend Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who apologized Tuesday for anti-Semitic social media posts he shared over the weekend.

In an exchange Wednesday with another Instagram Live user, Stephen Jackson said, “The Jews are the richest. You know who the Rothschilds are? … They control all the banks. They own all the banks.”

Asked if he thought Jews were “trying to divide the black community,” Jackson replied, “No, but I don’t think they stand up for us as much as they should.”

The day before, Jackson had offended some when he appeared to be speaking to Jewish people in writing, “Your races pain doesn’t hurt more than the next races pain. Don’t act like your hardships [are] more devastating then ours. … Truth Hurts. Never waste time explaining to people who never supported u anyway.”

Steelers’ Zach Banner Gets Emotional While Condemning DeSean Jackson ‘s Anti-Semitism Posts (VIDEO)

An NFL player got extremely choked up as he condemned anti-Semitism a day after Philadelphia Eagles star receiver DeSean Jackson sent out multiple apologies for his uninformed Instagram posts.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Zach Banner took to Twitter on Wednesday and stated he had trouble sleeping after learning that the 33-year-old Jackson had shared hateful, falsely attributed quotes to Adolf Hitler.

“There’s a common misbelief among black and brown people — and I know this from growing up (in Lakewood, Washington) and I’ve listened to it — that Jewish people are just any other white race… You mix them up with the rest of the majority and don’t understand that they’re a minority as well,” said Banner, who is black like Jackson.

“I didn’t know this until I went to USC and I had friends, who are now family members believe it or not, who are part of the Jewish community, current students and Alumni.”

Banner began to choke up even more as he spoke about the Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue shooting that left 11 dead in 2018, his first season with the Steelers.

Stephen A. Smith stepped up as well, he is very influential. I read on twitter that Stephen Jackson is a farrakhan supporter, which would explain his insane defense of DeSean.

Frankly, I wasn't at all hopeful given the past few months and the wratching up of anti-Semitic remarks and actions at some protests and some places vandalized with ZERO MSM coverage. Of course, I see the excuses being made, that was to be expected, but I am happily surprised at the push back, he and others are getting for their blatant anti-Semitic bullshit.
