Bryan, Texas -- For now, Michael Stuckey is a resident at the Motel 6 on Texas 21 in Bryan. Thursday morning, he'll pack his supplies -- a $40 Wal-Mart tent, water and snacks, tools and basic survival equipment -- into his two-by-five wagon and head out the door.

The direction he's going, though, not even he knows.

"When I reach a highway junction, the Lord tells me which way to go," he said. "I'll know when I start walking."

The 65-year-old has spent the past 12 years trekking down the side of highways and sleeping in ditches. He said he's racked up more than 37,000 miles crossing through 19 states, because he's on a mission -- he said God told him to pick up where the Apostle Paul left off.

At 65 let's give him a birth year of 1950. Enlists in 67' becomes a corpman and is discharged in 72' and becomes a systems engineer (without a degree or any training) installing computers?

I can't be bothered to chase this all down but I'd give odds his true history is nothing like the news article...
