But the good news is we can address the greed that lives inside of each of us.

I'm trying.

The first step is to stop buying so much crap.

I think once you live through the Great Depression the lessons learned stay with you. "You can't always get what you want, but you get what you need"...the Rolling Stones

Sweden has a word for being content and satisfied. I forget what it is, I saw Anthony Bourdain on No Reservations and they discussed this attitude. The Swedes aren't greedy, they are content with being comfortable. I admire and respect this outlook.
