If you watch it a while you can see some interesting clusters as well as generalizations. Small places that stay on the red/yellow day and night, other places that stay close to the blue 24/7. South Korea has red spots 24/7 while the North not much of anything which is understandable. India, Eastern China and southern Europe get very red and China jumps even more red in the early nighttime. India gets very hot and very cold. The US in general doesn't seem to have much contrast.

It does say a lot about society if you think about it.

My dogs suck up bandwidth like nobody's business! You can see the red dot in Colorado. That's them surfing for chew toys and Beggin' Strips all while I'm at work and asleep. I keep telling them Beggin' Strips are junk food, but of course, they're dogs and they just don't care about their waistlines. Meanwhile, my email and fb are filled the to brim with doggie spam. (Not ads for real spam, though my dogs would love that, too.)

We went to the dog food store today, they gave us samples of a dried salmon chew. The dogs won't leave my side...apparently the salmon smell hangs on your fingers for quite some time...I may have to set my keyboard up on a shelf for a while.
