I found the best way to use my digital screen
was to take my glasses off completely. The last surgery made me nearsighted in both eyes, meaning I can do close work now without glasses, instead of needing drug store magnifying lenses over bifocals to see work held under a magnifying lamp (when I go blind, I don't fool around).
While it's a total PIA seeing only fuzzy shapes without the glasses, it's great being able to read and play witless games on the Kindle.
