2. I caught the moonrise over St. Barnabas Road last night.

From my vantage point in Alexandria, the moon rose over the Capital Beltway - St. Barnabas Road interchange at 8:43 last night. I easily spotted Jupiter, which rose a few minutes earlier, with no need for binoculars.

as trees etc interfere here. I got a good pic of both around 10:30. Tonight moon rise here in southern MD 'scheduled' @ 9:39.

Yes, a Palm PDA. If you can still find a Palm, locate the Planetarium app online and install it in that Palm device. You'll be amazed at what it can do.
