Scientists plan to refreeze polar ice caps

Cambridge University is set to launch an institute which will investigate re-freezing the polar ice caps by spraying seawater into the clouds.
The new Centre for Climate Repair is to research radical measures once thought "beyond the pale" because current efforts to cool the atmosphere are insufficient.
This will include pumping seawater up tall masts on uncrewed ships that will then diffuse into the atmosphere.
It's hoped the tiny particles of water would make clouds above the ice caps more widespread and reflective of the sun, thereby cooling the ice below.
