investigative tool we've ever come up with. Anthropology (as just one discipline) has been shaken, and will continue to shake, like a pea in a whistle. It's all quite dizzying - and glorious!

(next up - how disease process, and social and environmental pressures, have interacted with human evolution hand in hand down through our history

I don't listen nearly as fast as he talks, wish there was some way to slow it down a bit. I was concentrating more on keeping up instead of on the content, if that makes any sense.

Press the cogwheel next to YouTube at the bottom of the video and then select playback speed.

I put the podcasts to 1.25x speed, which helps get through them quicker.

In fact, I wonder if they artificially compress the audio on these videos to make it go faster.

But as several people have pointed out, you can slow the playback speed, which I often do for documentaries of this type.
